The star of the show is the gentle giant Deinocheirus, whose massive arms and curious personality make every stop unforgettable. Tammy guides her tours in a well-worn, dust-covered pickup truck, windows down, radio playing local hits, and the unmistakable smell of wet marsh and pine in the air, giving each ride a true Pine Ridge feel.
For safety, no pets are allowed, and all guests must sign a waiver before heading out. Tours are cash only, so bring plenty, and be prepared for bumps, mud, and the occasional splash from the wetlands.

Years ago, the town relied on the local division of the DFW to oversee dinosaur activity, until a covert poaching ring infiltrated the department from the inside. Illegal captures, falsified reports, and missing assets exposed serious vulnerabilities in the system, putting both wildlife and residents at risk.
In the wake of the scandal, Pine Ridge dismantled the compromised division and built something stronger: the Prehistoric Ordinance Department (P.O.D.). Formed with strict oversight, transparent practices, and community involvement, P.O.D. represents a clean break from the past and a renewed commitment to safeguarding Pine Ridge’s prehistoric residents.

The Prehistoric Ordinance Department (better known around town as P.O.D.) is Pine Ridge’s frontline defense in a world where dinosaurs roam as freely as the wind.
Operating from the iconic coastal outpost, P.O.D. keeps constant watch over our ancient residents and ensures the town stays one step ahead of whatever the past decides to throw our way.
P.O.D. maintains its own Emergency Broadcast System, capable of issuing instant alerts across Pine Ridge whenever unusual dinosaur activity is detected. During high-risk situations, the outpost lighthouse will illuminate, casting its warning beam across the rooftops to signal residents to stay indoors, stay calm, and stay informed.
